We source the finest essential oils, and absolutes, fragrance oils, the best natural raw materials and safe synthetics.
Some of our soap bases consist of plant oils - certified sustainable palm oil, palm kernel oil, organic shea butter, organic raw coconut oil and vegetable glycerin. Our ingredient suppliers provide certification verifying,
which means we are all getting the quality and content we are paying for.
We handcraft, handpour and handcut all our soaps. Each soap is handmade and slightly different, so weights and design may slightly vary.
We are Cruelty Free and do not test any of our products on animals.
I quality test all our products on me, only...(Hi, I'm Liv, Boss Lady Capricorn, who loves/addicted to bath rituals, soaps, aromatherapy, self care & all things witchy). I am also a mad animal lover ☽
Fragrance Oils
Yes, some of our soaps are crafted with safe synthetic fragrances, which can sometimes be safer than some essentials oils.
Fragrances that are used in the manufacture of our soap are made from a blend of essential oils, natural fragrances and man-made fragrances, which are all certified by IFRA. www.ifraorg.org . This insures that the ingredients are 100% safe for use for their application and are only made from pure natural ingredients.
In our experience with crafting soaps, is that fragrances can sometimes last much longer, and you cannot get many of the wonderful “scents” we do unless a fragrance is used.
Packaging
Here at After Dark we strive to remain as plastic free as we can, and try to produce as little waste as possible.
We also want to get your soaps to you in perfect condition and completely damage free, which means some of your soaps and products will be shipped either wrapped in recycled paper, paper bag pockets, baking paper, some in cellophane pockets, and some will be shipped naked and all include an ingredient label tag.
The soaps and products are shipped in a recycled box (as we try to re-use as much as we can) & are well padded with recycled box filler and/or recycled brown paper and/or tissue paper, as shipping can be rough.
Cancellations/Returns/Refunds
After Dark SoapCo. reserves the right to cancel your order prior to payment being processed.
Due to the nature of soap, we do not accept refunds or returns. Soap is an intimate, sanitary product that we cannot resell once it leaves After Dark SoapCo.HQ. Cancellations will not be accepted after the order has been shipped.
Refunds will not be given for change of mind. Refunds will not be given for allergies or reactions. We state every ingredient clearly on the label and on our website, so please be sure to read correctly and proceed as you wish ☽
If items arrive badly damaged, incorrect or any other not-so-good stuff, please reach out so we can try to rectify the situation! We are always here to help and make sure you're happy with your soapy goodies!
